Experience in one to one coaching

I have at least 25 years experience of providing Training and support to school Principals and Middle Leaders. This included working on PQH.NI (Professional Qualification for Headship) courses and designing leadership programmes for Senior leaders in schools. I have also sat on assessment panels for principal qualifications and I also assess post graduate students (teachers) for Stranmillis College. I am at present delivering training on Team Building, Team Coaching and Resilience and Wellbeing both at school and University level involving training in coaching and mentoring. I also write articles on Team Coaching and the importance of developing Transformational teams.

During the year 2019 I completed some 75 coaching sessions with 30 school principals both in Northern and Southern Ireland and in this year to date 50+. Most of these have been face to face but because of Coronavirus quite a few have been online using Microsoft Teams and Zoom. I really enjoy working online and am prepared to work with anyone regardless of location. I have also completed a number of Team Coaching Sessions again both North and South with Senior Leadership Teams both Primary and Post Primary, again using a blended learning approach. This work has not been fully completed and I am continually picking up new schools. This has been part of the CSL initiative but has also involved private work with both Primary and Post primary Schools in Northern Ireland.
