Power of Embodied Transformation-Coaches Rising

Accredited Coach with the Association for Coaching

Experience in one to one coaching

My coaching is built on a lifetime in education. As an early school-leaver I took leaving cert at night, continuing my education at UCD, UL and the University of York. I am extremely passionate about coaching; and am acutely aware of the challenges leaders face today in this age of complexity, with increased workloads and time pressures.

As a developmental coach working also as a lecturer and a performer in music, I understand the demands and stresses involved in producing high quality work and the need for skillful collaboration to work effectively as a school leader. My clients include leaders in education, arts and health. I have worked with over 30 principals and several school management teams in a range of settings from small primary schools to large second-level institutions.

I approach coaching as a compassionate, empathic and deeply respectful conversation. I work with clients to create a meaningful and empowering space to explore a broad range of interconnected issues related to work and personal life. A happy life is one that is balanced and integrated combining personal satisfaction and a healthy work ethos.

Paul came to my school and that was like finding an oasis in my life.
"As a result of my coaching I revisited my values, work and myself and the relationship between them. I have made life changing decisions without fear or anxiety. The coaching experience has been transformational for me."

Principal of second-level college

"I found the whole experience excellent… it made me confront some of my own thoughts and certain aspects of my leadership that I had been dodging! I also found it to be an extremely affirming experience and it allowed me to acknowledge my strengths.

I couldn't recommend it strongly enough to any school leader."
